In today's post we feature the Piaggio L166 Albatross which served in the South African Air Force's during the last part of the 20th century.

This aircraft was used for as a short to medium range maritime patrol aircraft. This aircraft was powered by 2 x 340HP Piaggio Lycomming GSO-480 piston Engines and served in the SAAF from 1969 - 1993.
